I've learn to enjoy sports

About 11 years ago I started a very much wanted journey. It was new, interesting, challenging, but also rewarding. Everyday I embrace it and try to improve myself in order to be the best mom my kid can have.
If I were to write about how many things I learned from my boy ...I would have to keeeep writing. But I decided to stop to a single one: his love for sports.
Spending time playing sports with my recreational companion is one of my favorite hobby right now.

My son taught me
  • to push my limits,
  • to experience new and "dangerous"moves,
  • to have fun when loosing,
  • to admit that I don't know everything on this Earth (even if I am his mom!!)
  • to enjoy when a much younger one teach me lessons
Sports like bicycling, rollerblading, basketball, football, baseball, swimming, skying, are part of my daily recreation wish.

Now, proudly I can admit that I learned from my son that in every IMPOSSIBLE is a POSSIBLE.

Thank you my little sports lover!

I’ve learned sacrifice

I have a very special brother. I am not the only one, I know,
but I am so loved by Him that he sacrificed his life for me.
This gives me courage to live my life with significance.
This gives me reason to learn what  sacrifice is and sacrifice myself for others.

To sacrifice what you have and who you are is not easy, but if you have love and if you are compassionate for those around you ..it looks like it is possible... He showed it to me.

I’ve learned from Him to give up to myself and put others before me.. just for love .. just for them .. without any resentment.

Thank you my brother for teaching me daily that sacrifice brings fruits .. and this last forever.

This is how I want to live my life ... with meaning ...

I’ve learned love

I am not great with words ... but I can sometimes find myself in somebody else’s. Therefore, here is my declaration of love to my beloved husband and best friend who taught me what love is and how can it be proved. Our journey started many years ago (I am not going to mention how many…) and it still goes ahead. I have many more to learn in the love subject, but I am determined to work on it daily …

For all those times you stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you
  I'll be forever thankful baby
You're the one who held me up
  Never let me fall
You're the one who saw me through, through it all

You gave me wings and made me fly
You touched my hand I could touch the sky
I lost my faith, you gave it back to me
You said no star was out of reach
You stood by me and I stood tall
I had your love I had it all
I'm grateful for each day you gave me
Maybe I don't know that much
But I know this much is true
I was blessed because I was loved by you

You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't speak
You were my eyes when I couldn't see
You saw the best there was in me
Lifted me up when I couldn't reach
You gave me faith 'coz you believed
  I'm everything I am
  Because you loved me

You were always there for me
The tender wind that carried me
A light in the dark shining your love into my life
  You've been my inspiration
Through the lies you were the truth
My world is a better place because of you!!

The Learning Journey

I started my learning journey in a hurry looking forward to
   walk,
      talk,
        play,
          sing,
           draw,
             write,
                read,
                 design clothes,
                    knit,
                      teach,
                         love,
                           cook,
                              bike,
                                ski
                                  ..and many more.

All I know are things that I’ve learned from people around me, people that I came in contact with and that enriched my life with theirs. It is not easy to start …to say which one is the most important ... but each has its special place in my being.
This is a  humble THANK YOU for all of them, and those to come.
